Discovering Miami’s Wynwood Walls

We were in Miami, and through the power of good planning and long days had ticked off the Major tourist things – South Beach, Little Havana, the Everglades. We had a spare day before boarding a cruise ship so I looked up on TripAdvisor top things to do in Miami, and there we found out about the Wynwood Walls.

It is in the warehouse district of Miami, which since 2009 has been revitalised by Street artists from around the world.  This is an art show on a giant scale, with nearly every building painted over many blocks.

To get there, simply take the free Metromover tram, and walk about 20 minutes North from the final stop. More info can be found on The Wynwood Walls website.
