We didn’t know about the existence of the Nazi Rally Grounds until after we arrived in Nuremberg. It was listed as one of the attractions in the area, and our curiosity got the better of us so we took the train out one gloomy afternoon to pay the site a visit.

Finding East Side Gallery on the Berlin Wall

Parts of the Berlin Wall still stand and this particular section has been used for artistic expression, bringing emotional meaning to remnants of this dividing scar crossing Berlin. The East Side Gallery stretches for 1.3km (0.8 miles) making it the longest open air gallery in the world.
